This is a new wine, and is a blend of cabernet and merlot. I do like its structure and poise which reflects the way the wine has been assembled. Leafy tobacco and black olive nuances overlay the deeper plummy blackcurrant of the two varieties. Has that distinctive graphite of oyster shell character you get in these southern cabs.
