Undurraga's property in Leyda was first planted in 2007, and this pinot noir comes from that first plantation. From the 2013 vintage and aged on its lees in the bottle for five years (not at all usual in Chilean sparkling wines), this wine shines with its creamy texture and nutty, spicy flavors, all unified by gleaming, crunchy acidity that remains to the finish. It also has a smoky side that adds complexity. A delicious, broad, enveloping wine but with mouthwatering, nervy acidity. Score - 94. (Patricio Tapia, guiadescorchados.cl, 2020)
