Concord Grape Mimosa

Sweet-tart almost velvety-skinned concord grapes are native to Ontario where they come into season in late summer/early autumn. Seek out their pressed juices at your farmer’s market so you can give this local delicacy the elegant and celebratory mimosa treatment it deserves. It’s prepared simply with a splash of vodka and sparkling wine—both local too, of course! This lively sipper makes an excellent accompaniment to appetizers with fresh and tangy cheeses like our Warm Goat’s Cheese Platter.

Also, check out our cranberry, kombuca and apple cider cocktail variations too.

Recipe

2 oz concord grape juice
1 oz vodka
3 to 4 oz Ontario brut sparkling wine
Rosemary skewered through a lime wheel

Pour juice and vodka into a flute. Top with sparkling wine. Skewer lime wheel with rosemary and garnish the cocktail.
