A rich powerful Amarone with its power somewhat tamed by soft acidity to give it a degree of elegance. Expect aromas of prune and blackberry fruit with dark chocolate, tar, smoke and mild spice with a sweet herbal tone. The palate is thick and rich and dense with fruit but has enough acidity to give it some lightness of feel. Excellent length with the alcohol nicely balanced on the finish.
