The Perfect Manhattan
Early Summer 2015
Dolin has produced its vermouths in Chambéry, France, since 1821, using local Alpine botanicals. Lighter and not as sweet as the big commercial brands, Dolin supports rather than smothers the whisky in the cocktail.
Makes 1 drink
1½ oz 100% rye whisky
½ oz Dolin red vermouth
½ oz Dolin dry white vermouth
Dash Angostura Bitters
1 preserved cherry
1 Shake liquids vigorously in a cocktail shaker with ice. Strain into a chilled Martini glass. Garnish with a cherry.
