Singapore Sling

Based on the original Raffles formula, this version is excellently balanced and perfectly sized for two.
Makes 2 cocktails
2 oz gin
1 oz cherry brandy or liqueur
1/2 oz Benedictine
1/2 oz orange liqueur
4 oz pineapple juice
1 oz freshly squeezed lime juice
1/2 oz grenadine
2 dashes Angostura bitters
Club soda, chilled
2 pineapple wedges or leaves and cocktail cherries for garnish
1. Pour gin, cherry brandy, Benedictine, orange liqueur, both juices, grenadine and bitters into cocktail shaker. Add ice. Shake until chilled. Divide between two ice-filled tall, slim or footed glasses. Top with club soda. Garnish each with pineapple and a cherry.
