Greyhound Fizz

Try a mixer with less calories or cut the sweetness in half by using sparkling water in place of some of the grapefruit juice typically called for in a classic Greyhound.
Makes 1 cocktail
1 oz vodka
3 to 4 oz Fever-tree sparkling pink grapefruit or 2 oz freshly squeezed grapefruit juice plus 2 oz sparkling water, chilled
Grapefruit slice for garnish
Rosemary sprig for garnish
Pour vodka into a chilled coupe glass. Top with sparkling grapefruit. (Alternately, top with grapefruit juice then gently stir in sparkling water.) Garnish with grapefruit slice and rosemary.
BRIGHT IDEA Create a lower-alcohol and lower-calorie version of this recipe by using less spirit and a lighter mixer or a mix of grapefruit juice and sparkling water for this Greyhound-inspired sipper. Layer in extra flavour with a fragrant garnish.
