The majority of the fruit for the 2018 Zinfandel comes from old head-trained (goblet) vines in Amador and Lodi, and the wine is aged in 20% new American oak with the remainder seeing time in two-year-old French oak. It shows ripe raspberry, blackberry, vanilla and spice. A long, supple wine for grilled meats and veggies, this will evolve through 2024+.
