Bright light straw colour with streams of tiny bubbles. Attractive, slightly spicy, fresh, Anjou-pear-tinged, ripe, lemon-apple meringue nose with some toasty-mineral notes. Very dry, medium bodied, complex, citrusy, lemon meringue flavours with a lingering, crisp, toasty-brioche finish and fine effervescence. This nicely textured new blend of 70% Chardonnay, 27% Pinot Noir and 3% Pinot Meunier was tiraged (put in bottle) in February 2018 and disgorged on July 2021 with 40 months on the lees. It has 13% alcohol, 5 g/L residual sugar and 8 g/L total acidity with the the code L211129 17 (Nov 29, 2021) on the shipping case. A Best Buy. Score - 91.
