This digestif is crafted from Barolo and infused with over 20 herbs and spices as well as cinchona bark, which gave us the anti-malarial drug quinine. The infusions are divided into three groups that are macerated separately for three months before being blended together and allowed to settle and balance for six months in oak. Once ready, they are added to the wine along with sugar and alcohol. The result is an aromatic, complex beverage with touches of clove and spice and a gorgeous bittersweet character.
