Celebrating 50 vintages of Caymus with wine legend Chuck Wagner

It’s almost impossible to talk about Californian wine without mentioning the efforts of the Wagner family. Masters of Cabernet Sauvignon, members of the Wagner dynasty have tirelessly crafted sumptuous wine under famous labels like Sea Sun, Bonanza, Conundrum, Mer Soleil, Emmolo, Red Schooner and, of course, Caymus.

A name as respected as those of the great Bordelais châteaux or Tuscan castelli, Caymus helped bring Napa Valley to the forefront of the fine-wine world. Beloved for their dark-fruit-driven style, broad shoulders, thick tannins and incredible ageability, these wines have wooed connoisseurs the world over.
