Product Details

Formerly known as Amat - it's a shame that Francisco Carrau had to change the name - this is a superb single parcel Tannat that shows the grape at its most refined. Aged in an equal combination of 30% new French and American oak, it's a nuanced, textured red with violet and rose petal aromas, scented cinnamon spice and racy red berry fruit. Drink date: 2022-2035. Score - 94. (Tim Atkin, MW, timatkin.com, Uruguay Special Report 2020)
