This deep purple colored Petite Sirah [a.k.a. Durif] opens with a blueberry and cola bouquet with a hint of spearmint, rose, and bay leaf. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied with medium acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round, and clean. The flavor profile is cola and blueberry blend with notes of black licorice and black tea. We also detected hints of very dark chocolate and fig in the aftertaste. The finish is dry and its dusty tannins stick around for a while and then settle over time. The Tasting Panel would pair this Petite Sirah with porterhouse steak. Enjoy. Very Good+. Score - 92. (Panel, kenswineguide.com, March 20, 2022)
