A portion of this gewürztraminer was fermented on the skins, with half in barrel. It's a very aromatic, ripe, late-harvest style wine, with intense flavours and almost opulent palate even if malolactic was not done (but there was little malic acid left when this was picked). Flavour intensity is high, and length is very good to excellent. A top example, with high intensity varietal character and long, long finish. Tasted July 2021. Score - 91.
