Showing the high alcohol levels that are a feature of some of the 2018 reds, this superb, if full-bodied, Malbec comes from two sites in Gualtallary, both of them above 1,250 metres. Laurel and aniseed aromas lead you into a palate that is rich, dense and textured with a nice combination of one-third oaked and two-thirds stainless steel components, fine tannins and balancing natural acidity.
