Errazuriz winemaker Fransisco Baettig has a side gig going on the very southern region of Traiguen. What a fine piece of work - okay lets call it a masterpiece - combining richness and freshness. The aromas and flavours blend complex fine lees/sourdough, olive oil, butter, chive, ripe but subtle peach fruit and hazelnut. It is medium bodied - with an overall ambiance mindful of Pouilly-Fuisse if a more obvious. It is the acid-alcohol-fruit balance that is so good.
