Product Details

Andes Plateau buys their grapes from a vineyard in the Pirque zone, 800 m above sea level. The rest of the blend (about 5%) comes from Alcohuaz, 1,800 m above sea level in the Elqui Valley. The result is very Pirque, with the elegant texture the wines from this area are known for, ripe red fruit, a bit of spice, and the firm acidity of mountain wines. It's lush, yet gripping at the same time, and the red fruits inundate the palate. The acidity brightens everything and makes the other flavors stand out, something akin to earth and blood, even though that sounds strange. A tremendous wine think about aging for at least 5 years. Score - 96. (guiadescorchados.cl, 2018)
