Fundraising Recipients
The LCBO provides support to a variety of worthy causes and organizations. Below is a list of some of our recent fundraising recipients.
MADD Canada
MADD Canada’s mission is to stop impaired driving and to support victims of this violent crime. We are mothers, fathers, sons, daughters, sisters, brothers, grandparents, students and concerned citizens who care about keeping loved ones safe and want to support those who are victims or survivors of impaired driving crashes. We are composed of over 100 grassroots Chapter and Community Leaders, and more than 7,500 volunteers across the country.
Ontario Children’s Hospitals
Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario (CHEO) Foundation
The CHEO Foundation is responsible for developing, accepting, distributing and recognizing philanthropy in support of the CHEO Research Institute, Roger Neilson House, Children’s Health Foundation, McMaster Children’s Hospital Foundation and SickKids Foundation. To this day, our initial goal of having a special place that provides specialized care for children and youth remains a top priority for the families in eastern Ontario, western Quebec and beyond.
Children’s Health Foundation
Children’s Health Foundation is dedicated to raising and granting funds to support our health-care partners: Children’s Hospital at London Health Sciences Centre, Thames Valley Children’s Centre, and Children’s Health Research Institute.
Hand in hand with our donors and partner organizations, Children’s Health Foundation is strengthening and transforming pediatric health care and rehabilitation for the benefit of all children and youth in our region.
McMaster Children’s Hospital Foundation
McMaster Children’s Hospital Foundation, as part of the Hamilton Health Sciences Foundation, provides vital funding to enable the best possible patient care at McMaster Children’s Hospital, including Ron Joyce Children’s Health Centre and McMaster University Medical Centre. The foundation inspires and motivates gifts that fund medical equipment and patient amenities, innovative research initiatives, essential redevelopment of clinical care spaces, and the education and training of health-care providers.
SickKids Foundation
All of us at SickKids are fighting the same battle: to make every kid a healthy kid. We believe fighting for the health and well-being of children is one of the most powerful ways to improve society.
United Way
The United Way is working to build great communities for all Canadians. With a focus on moving people out of poverty, helping kids be all they can be, and strong and healthy communities, we are helping create lasting change from coast to coast.
Women’s College Hospital
Women’s College Hospital is now a leader in health for women, health equity and health system solutions — it’s a hospital designed to keep people out of the hospital. We are developing ground-breaking innovations that address the most pressing issues related to population health, patient experience and system costs. We advocate for health equity because we know a healthy society requires a level playing field where everyone has access to timely, high-quality, efficient and compassionate care.
