1 sugar cube or 1 tsp sugar
3 dashes Angostura Bitters
Splash club soda or water
2 oz rye whisky or bourbon
1 strip lemon or orange zest, for garnish
- Place sugar cube in bottom of a chilled old-fashioned glass. Saturate sugar cube with bitters. Add club soda. Muddle together sugar with bitters until dissolved. Fill glass with ice, add whisky Stir well. Garnish with lemon zest.
