Irish Ginger

Ingredients

2 lime wedges
2 orange wedges
¼ oz - ½ oz brown sugar syrup*
1 ½ oz Irish Whiskey
3-4 oz ginger beer
Garnish: mint sprig

Directions

  1. To a highball glass add 2 lime wedges, 2 orange wedges and ¼ oz - ½ oz brown sugar syrup+. Muddle. 
  2. Fill the glass with ice and add 1 ½ oz Irish Whiskey and 3-4 oz ginger beer. Stir. 
  3. Garnish with a mint sprig.
 
*Brown sugar syrup : combine 1 cup brown sugar with 1 cup boiling water. Stir to dissolve. Allow to chill, cover and refrigerate for up to 2 weeks.
