Mistletoe Mojito


¼ cup fresh cranberries
½ oz vanilla syrup*
½ oz lime juice
6 mint leaves
1½ oz spiced rum
2 oz ginger ale
1 mint sprig
1 lime wedge


  1. To a tall glass, add cranberries, vanilla syrup, lime juice and mint leaves. Muddle, fill with ice and add spiced rum and ginger ale. Garnish with mint sprig and lime wedge.
Makes 1 cocktail
*For vanilla syrup, stir 1 cup sugar and 1 cup boiling water with 2 vanilla pods (or ½ tsp vanilla extract). Allow to cool. Refrigerate, covered, for up to 2 weeks.
