This month we're sipping...

Warm Whisky Cocktails

Winter is the ideal season to mix up a batch of warm whisky cocktails, a.k.a., hot toddies. With its smooth, rich flavour, Canadian whisky makes an ideal toddy base, blending well with other wintry flavours, such as cinnamon and maple syrup. Savour them together with every delicious sip.

READY TO EXPLORE?

Invented by an Irish doctor for medicinal purposes in the early 19th century, a hot toddy is a warm mixed drink traditionally made with liquor, something sweet (like honey), and spices and herbs. When you’re in the mood for a toasty drink on a cold winter’s day, use your favourite spices and ingredients from the pantry to make the hot toddy your own.

YOU MAY TASTE

Warm whisky, honey, maple syrup, hot tea, cinnamon, cloves.

SIP THEM WITH

Sweet treats, including shortbread, sugar cookies and apple cider beignets.
