Shake Up Your Margaritas

The ever-popular combination of blanco tequila, orange liqueur and fresh lime juice can be reimagined so many ways. Start with the basic recipe by pouring 1 oz each of tequila, orange liqueur and fresh lime juice into a cocktail shaker filled with ice. Next, shake and strain into a Kosher-salt-rimmed glass. If you want to try something new, here are a few fresh ideas we've dreamed up:

1. Jalapeño Margarita

Bring the heat by shaking up a classic Margarita (see above) with some raw jalapeño slices tossed in along with the tequila, liqueur and lime juice before shaking.

2. Frozen Limoncello Margarita

Mix up the classic Margarita by making it into a slushie like we’ve done for this blender Limoncello-infused version. Kick that frosty sipper up a notch by floating about a bar spoonful of Campari or Aperol overtop.

3. Cadillac Margarita

As the name implies, create a next-level Margarita by using elevated ingredients. Try substituting basic orange liqueur with Grand Marnier, or even create a striking turquoise-hued twist by using blue Curaçao for that orange flavour instead.
