2 oz amber or dark rum
5 dashes Angostura® bitters
1 sugar cube or 1 heaping teaspoon of quick dissolve sugar
1/2 oz water
- Add a cube of sugar to an old fashioned glass and saturate it with bitters.
- Add water, and muddle the cube until it dissolves.
- Add an orange zest and muddle again.
- Fill the glass with ice and add rum.
- Garnish with a cherry and orange slice.
