“The greatest benefit the LCBO has given me is the opportunity to succeed with my career. My journey with the LCBO started five years ago. I was a casual worker in a AA store and six months in I realized I wanted to become a manager. Since that day I followed that goal by learning as much as I could and getting the right guidance to that position. And then I became a B store manager two years ago. The journey has been great.”

Erin Beazley, Assistant Manager, Print Production

"Well first and foremost the people I get to work with are truly great and I am lucky to come to the office every day and have a positive personal experience before the work begins in earnest. I’ve never underestimated the value of that in my work life. Secondly, we do great stuff here and it’s really fulfilling to play a role in that. Lastly, it’s really nice to be able to combine my education and work experience and draw upon all of it each day that I’m here. It’s provided me with an excellent foundation to learn and grow in my role at LCBO."

“I’ve always admired the LCBO, from the perspective of a customer as well as a retail executive. We share many values in common, from balancing operational efficiency and excellence in customer service, to giving back. Retail has been the focus of my career and I’m excited about what I can offer the LCBO. I’m looking forward to it.”

William Mancini, Product Consultant and VQA Promoter of the Year Award Winner

“I’ve always been a big believer in buying local. That goes back to before I knew much about wine. In 1993 when I was working at Polaroid, a meeting was held in Niagara-on-the-Lake. They took us to a couple of wineries as well. I was really struck by the enthusiasm of the winemakers we met and the experience stayed with me. After joining the LCBO, I realized we make great wines in Ontario. The more I learned, the more impressed I was with the quality of the wine and the industry itself. Many people are coming into the store looking for wines from Ontario. It’s great to see.”
