LCBO Launches Fundraising Campaign in Support of Women’s College Hospital and equitable healthcare

Donations will fund programs across Ontario that support and provide treatment to women and groups that have been economically/socially marginalized

March 8, 2022 – Toronto – As part of LCBO’s commitment to supporting Thriving Communities across Ontario and in alignment with International Women’s Day, the LCBO is launching an in-store fundraising campaign in support of Women’s College Hospital (WCH).

Beginning today, March 8^th and running until March 27^th, customers who are able can donate $2, $5 or $10 alongside their purchase at LCBO stores across the province to help WCH’s mission to provide equitable and compassionate healthcare.

Donations from this campaign will fund programs across Ontario that support and provide treatment to women and groups that have been economically/socially marginalized, including those struggling with substance use and addiction.

The LCBO partnered with Women’s College Hospital for the first time in 2021 and raised over $2 million dollars.

This campaign is rooted in the LCBO’s Spirit of Sustainability platform and commitment to building communities where all individuals have equitable access to the essential resources they need to live happy and healthy lives.
