STATEMENT ON LCBO EMPLOYEES TESTING POSITIVE FOR COVID-19
Friday, April 23, 2021 – Toronto – The LCBO has been notified that team members at the following LCBO stores have tested positive for COVID-19. The employees are self-isolating at home, and we wish them well.
- Store #198 in Toronto (4525 Kingston Road). The last shift worked in store was on Monday, April 19, 2021. This is further to a media advisory on April 20, informing of a previously confirmed case.
- Store #453 in Newmarket (17365 Leslie Street). The last shift worked in store was on Monday, April 19, 2021.
This general notice is being provided out of transparency. Should we receive any additional Public Health direction or guidance; we will act immediately and accordingly.
Further to LCBO’s media advisories on April 10, April 14 and April 16 informing of cases of COVID-19 amongst team members at Store #217 in Toronto (2 Cooper St.), Toronto Public Health has declared an outbreak at this location. The LCBO is working closely with Toronto Public Health and should we receive any additional direction or guidance; we will act accordingly and immediately.
The LCBO has several measures to keep employees and customers safe, including regular cleaning and sanitization and in-store measures that promote physical distancing.
