STATEMENT ON LCBO EMPLOYEES TESTING POSITIVE FOR COVID-19

Thursday, April 15, 2021 – Toronto – The LCBO has been notified that team members at the following LCBO stores have tested positive for COVID-19. The employees are self-isolating at home, and we wish them well.

  • Store #635 in Maple (9310 Bathurst Street). The last shift worked in store was on Friday, April 9, 2021.
  • Store #368 in Ottawa (4750 Bank Street). The last shift worked in store was on Monday, April 12, 2021.

The LCBO has also been notified that a contract vendor working at Store #269 in Toronto (3441 Lawrence Avenue East) has tested positive for COVID-19. The last shift worked in store was Tuesday, April 13, 2021.

A contract vendor who visited the following stores on April 10 and April 11, 2021 has tested positive for COVID-19.

  • Store #420 in Toronto (2180 Bloor Street West). The store was last visited on Saturday, April 10, 2021.
  • Store #164 in Toronto (65 Wicksteed Avenue). The store was last visited on Saturday, April 10, 2021.
  • Store #512 in Toronto (20 Bloor Street East). The store was last visited on Sunday, April 11, 2021.
  • Store #528 in Toronto (55 Bloor Street West). The store was last visited on Sunday, April 11, 2021.
  • Store #6 in Toronto (1357 Queen Street West). The store was last visited on Sunday, April 11, 2021.

This general notice is being provided out of transparency. Should we receive any additional Public Health direction or guidance; we will act immediately and accordingly.   

The LCBO has several measures to keep employees and customers safe, including regular cleaning and sanitization and in-store measures that promote physical distancing.
