STATEMENT ON LCBO EMPLOYEES TESTING POSITIVE FOR COVID-19
Friday, February 5, 2021 – Toronto – The LCBO has been notified that team members at the following LCBO stores have tested positive for COVID-19. The employees are self-isolating at home, and we wish them well.
- Store #501 in Thunder Bay (1010 Dawson Road). The last shift worked in store was on Friday, January 22, 2021.
- Two employees at Store #269 in in Toronto (3441 Lawrence Avenue East). The last shifts worked in store were on Sunday, January 31, 2021 and Tuesday, February 2 respectively.This is further to LCBO’s media advisory on February 4 informing of a previous confirmed case. Public Health has been contacted and should we receive direction or guidance; we will act immediately and accordingly. This location will reopen based on staff availability.
The LCBO has also been notified that a contract vendor working out of LCBO Store #398 in Toronto (662 Burnhamthorpe Road) has tested positive for COVID-19. The last shift worked in-store was on Sunday, January 31, 2021.
This general notice is being provided out of transparency.
The LCBO has several measures to keep employees and customers safe, including regular cleaning and sanitization and in-store measures that promote physical distancing.
