STATEMENT ON LCBO EMPLOYEE TESTING POSITIVE FOR COVID-19 AND UPDATE TO RECENT STATEMENTS FOR STORE #632 IN WOODBRIDGE
January 7, 2021 – Toronto – The LCBO has been notified that a team member at store #265 in Bolton (30 McEwan Drive East) has tested positive for COVID-19. The last shift worked in-store was on Thursday, December 31, 2020. The employee is self-isolating at home, and we wish them well.
Further to LCBO’s recent media advisories on January 4, 2021, December 31, 2020, and December 29, 2020 regarding previously confirmed cases of COVID-19 amongst team members who work at Store #632 in Woodbridge, Public Health has declared an outbreak at this location in relation to these cases. Should we receive any additional Public Health direction or guidance; we will act immediately and accordingly.
This general notice is being provided out of transparency.
The LCBO has several measures to keep employees and customers safe, including regular cleaning and sanitization and in-store measures that promote physical distancing.
