UPDATED LCBO STATEMENT ON UPCOMING PROVINCEWIDE SHUTDOWN AND IN-STORE CAPACITY
As outlined in the recent provincial announcement, when the new Provincewide Shutdown takes effect the LCBO will implement in-store shopping capacities of up to 25 per cent. We remain committed to meeting or exceeding public health guidance and will continue to operate as efficiently as we can within the space required for our staff to work, and our customers to shop, safely.
All LCBO locations are closed on Friday, December 25, 2020 and Saturday, December 26, 2020. Operating with reduced capacities will take effect when we open for regular business hours on Sunday, December 27, 2020. All LCBO locations are also closed on Friday, January 1, 2021.
While our hope remains that the customer experience is as uninterrupted as possible, lineups and delays should be anticipated when shopping with us in-store during this time, in particular on Sunday, December 27 and leading up to New Years Eve. We will also be pausing customer returns during the shutdown. We thank customers for their understanding and ask that they continue to follow all public health protocols, in line and in-store, and to treat each other and their local LCBO staff with patience and understanding as we work together to ensure a safe experience for all.
Customers may choose to ship to store or Same-Day Pickup, which is offered in over 125 stores, when shopping online. In order to manage increased customer demand over the holidays, Same-Day Pickup may be temporarily unavailable in select locations on Thursday, December 24, 2020 and Thursday, December 31, 2020.
