LCBO STATEMENT ON COVID-19 PROVINCEWIDE SHUTDOWN
As outlined in today’s provincial announcement of a new Provincewide Shutdown, the LCBO remains open and will implement a 25 per cent capacity for in-store shopping effective Sunday, December 27, 2020. A reminder that all LCBO locations across the province will be closed on Friday, December 25, 2020, Saturday, December 26, 2020 and Friday, January 1, 2021.
As more stringent capacity standards than required were in place in many cases, including across regions in the former Grey and Red zones, our hope is that our in-store customer experience remains as uninterrupted as possible. We thank customers for their continued patience and understanding.
We continue to remind customers shopping at the LCBO that they must wear masks or face coverings and follow all physical distancing guidance in-line and in-store, shop alone and plan ahead, limit interactions by paying with debit or credit, packing their own reusable bags and should extend kindness and patience to staff and fellow shoppers. Customers must also make alternate shopping arrangements if they are experiencing COVID-19 symptoms.
Customers may choose to ship to store or Same-Day Pickup, which today is offered in over 125 stores, when shopping online.
As we remain open for business, over the course of any busy period customers may see fluctuations in product selection.
