As outlined in today’s provincial announcement that Toronto and Peel will move into lockdown on Monday, November 23, the LCBO remains open in these regions. Throughout the pandemic, guided by public health and with the safety of our people, partners and communities in mind, we have continued to modify our processes to ensure the measures we have in place across each area of our business meet or exceed set standards. In fact, we have applied a universal capacity standard across our store network which in all cases already meets or exceeds the 50 percent capacity requirement. While no additional change to our day-to-day operations is required at this time, we will continue to monitor the situation and adjust as necessary.

We remain steadfast in our commitment to safe shopping experiences for all and have not relaxed our safety measures and precautions that matter most, including stringent cleaning and sanitization and in-store measures to promote physical distancing. We continue to remind customers shopping at the LCBO that they must wear masks or face coverings and follow all physical distancing guidance in-line and in-store. Customers should also shop alone and plan ahead, limit interactions by paying with debit or credit, pack their own reusable bags and extend kindness and patience to staff and fellow shoppers. Customers must make alternate shopping arrangements if they are experiencing COVID-19 symptoms. Online shopping options include ship-to-store and Same-Day Pickup, which today is offered in over 110 LCBO stores.

As we remain open for business, we are also proactively planning for increased demand ahead of the holidays. Over the course of any busy period customers may see fluctuations in product selection.
