POTENTIAL CANADA POST SERVICE DISRUPTION
August 26, 2016
To Our Valued Customers,
On Thursday, August 25th, the Canadian Union of Postal Workers issued a 72-hour advance notice of strike activity that could put its members in a legal strike position as of August 28th. A service disruption at Canada Post would affect LCBO’s ability to provide home and office delivery service of products ordered though our e-commerce website.
Although home and office delivery would be negatively affected in the event of a service disruption at Canada Post, this would not affect the LCBO’s ability to transfer products between stores, nor would it affect e-commerce orders being shipped for in-store pickup at any of LCBO’s 657 retail locations. Customers can continue to place online orders for pick up at our stores without any interruption.
We look forward to continuing to provide our customers with a wide selection of products, both in our retail stores and online through our e-commerce website. Should you have any questions or concerns, please contact the toll-free, bilingual helloLCBO Contact Centre at 1-800-ONT-LCBO (668-5226) or online at www.helloLCBO.com. In Toronto, call 416 365-5900 or our new mobile number #LCBO (5226). The TTY number for the deaf and hard of hearing is 416 864-6898 or 1-800-361-3291.
