LCBO gift cards are also a popular and convenient choice for gift giving, with half of all gift card sales happening during the holiday season. Last November and December, gift card sales totaled $38.4 million. LCBO and VINTAGES gift cards are available in any denomination between $10 and $500 and can be purchased at more than 5,000 approved locations including Shopper’s Drug Mart and Walmart. LCBO holiday sales in 2013 totaled $954.1 million, representing 19 per cent of last year’s total business. Last December, the average LCBO customer spent $45 compared to $38 at other times in the year. This year, LCBO expects December 23 and 24 to be the busiest shopping days.
