To a cocktail shaker filled with ice add rum, crushed watermelon, lime juice and simple syrup. Shake and strain into a tall glass over ice and garnish with a pinch of nutmeg and a watermelon slice.
*To make simple syrup, combine 1 cup sugar, 1 cup boiling water. Stir to dissolve sugar and allow to cool. Store covered for 1-2 weeks.

Ingredients
1 ½ cups (12 oz) spiced rum
2 cups (16 oz) chopped watermelon
½ cup (4 oz) lime juice
½ cup (4 oz) simple syrup
Directions
Add watermelon to a pitcher or punchbowl and crush. Add remaining ingredients and stir vigorously to mix. Pour into cups with ice and garnish each with a watermelon slice. Makes approx. 8 servings
