Los Arangos Reposado (LCBO 47316) is a light and mild tequila that doesn’t overpower the delicate subtle flavours of the watermelon and cucumber juice.

Purée 6 cups seedless watermelon and 1 peeled and cubed English cucumber in a food processor or blender. Press purée through a fine meshed sieve, pushing on solids with a rubber spatula or spoon, into a large bowl. This should yield a little more than 2 cups of juice. In a medium pitcher, combine juice with 8 oz tequila, 2 tbsp agave syrup (see TIP) and the juice of 2 limes, stir. Pour into 4 glasses filled with ice, and garnish with watermelon slice.

TIP Agave syrup, once only available in specialty stores, can now be found in mostSupermarkets in the sweetener aisle where you find honey and syrups.
