Spicy Cola

Add zippy flavour to the traditional spirit and cola mix with the simple addition of spicy peppers and a squeeze of lime.
Makes 6 cocktails
1 large or 2 small jalapeño peppers, thinly sliced with seeds removed
9 oz whisky or rum
4 cups (1 L) cola
3 limes
1. Thinly slice jalapeño into rounds, removing seeds. Taste pepper; if not very spicy, use more. Place prepared jalapeño in the base of a wide-mouthed 6 cup (1.5 L) pitcher. Pour in whisky. Muddle or lightly mash with end of a wooden spoon. Let stand for 1 hour.
2. Just before serving, top with Pepsi. Squeeze in juice from 1 lime. Stir. Thinly slice remaining limes. Add handful of ice. Float lime wheels in pitcher. Fasten remaining lime wheels to ice-filled rocks glasses for serving.
