Gin Fizz

Makes 1 cocktail
1 oz gin
½ oz Dry Curaçao
½ oz fresh lemon juice
¼ oz simple syrup*
Champagne or sparkling wine
Fresh orange zest or (optional) organic edible gardenia flower for garnish
1. Add ingredients except the sparkling wine to a shaker.
2. Fill with ice, shake vigorously and strain into a chilled coupette.
3. Top with sparkling wine.
4. Garnish with orange zest or float flower garnish on top.
Makes 1 cocktail
*Simple Syrup
1 cup water
2 cups sugar
1. Bring the water to a boil.
2. Add sugar and stir constantly until sugar is dissolved. Remove from heat.
3. Cool syrup and use immediately or pour into a covered jar and refrigerate for up to two weeks.
