Description
This comes from the Okanagan outpost of one of the leading lights of Canadian winemaking: the one-and-only Ann Sperling (director of winemaking and viticulture at Southbrook in Ontario). Beppi Crosariol (The Globe and Mail, July 10, 2017) awarded the 2015 version of this wine a rating of 91 points, calling it '... medium-bodied, tight and tense with acidity, just enough to accentuate the apple-, pear- and peach-like fruit ...' and a '... Genuinely cool chardonnay.' You can expect the 2016 to reflect similar quality and traits.
