Selbach-Oster Zeltinger Schlossberg Riesling Auslese 2012
Very clear and bright in color, the 2012 Zeltinger Schlossberg Riesling Auslese * has a nice, precise, cool and stony Riesling aroma intertwined with herbal flavors. Picked late (November 5), and bottled with 8% alcohol and almost 89 grams of residual sugar, this full-bodied, elegant, sweet and lush wine is very delicate and enormously juicy on the palate, but also reveals a nice purity and salinity in the finish. The aging potential should be enormous. Drink: 2015-2050. Score - 93. (Stephan Reinhardt, robertparker.com, Feb. 2015)
