Philippe Colin Chassagne-Montrachet Les Chenevottes 1er Cru 2015
A very densely fruited nose of pear, resin and a hint of spice also displays just enough wood influence to mention. The medium weight plus flavors also possess excellent concentration and the abundant level of dry extract imparts a highly seductive mouth feel to the well-balanced and impressively long finish. Like the Vergers this is going to need a few years to develop additional complexity but the underlying material appears to be present such that it could very well do so. Drink: 2023+. Sweet spot. Outstanding. Score - 92. (Allen Meadows, burghound.com, June 11, 2017)
