Ormanni Borro del Diavolo Riserva Chianti Classico 2010
A big, dark wine, Ormanni's 2010 Chianti Classico Riserva Borro del Diavolo offers tons of density and pure power to match its virile personality. Juicy black cherries, plums, smoke, tobacco, incense and leather are all pushed forward. Firm tannins suggest the 2010 is going to need at least a few years to fully come together. Still, it is pretty impressive today. Tasted next to the 2011, the 2010 is richer, deeper and quite a bit more structured. Drinking window: 2017-2031. Score - 93.
