Linkwood 37-Year-Old Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whisky

—VINTAGES#: 524728
Linkwood 37-Year-Old Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whisky
Appearance: Clear, golden amber with shades of rose gold. Aroma:Acorns, orchard fruit, honeysuckle and spice. Water amplifies orchard fruitiness revealing waxiness. Taste: Peppery spice and pear fruit with waxiness, ginger and clove. A dash of water brings this malt elements into kilter, revealing black tea, blackcurrant and menthol cough sweets. Aftertaste: Waxy, leathery soft malty finish with orchard fruit and mild spice. Overall: Waxy leather, orchard fruit and mild spice, this malt is incredibly quaffable - the sample provided was all too small. Incredibly fruity and sprightly for a 37 year old. Score - 5+ Stars (out of 5). (, Oct. 10, 2016)
