Description
The role of Mimi in Puccini's La Bohème was a favourite of Yarra-Valley-born Dame Nellie Melba, one of the most popular operatic sopranos of the late 19th and early 20th centuries. De Bortoli celebrates her legacy with their La Bohème and Melba label wines. This unconventional blend will be a sophisticated, refined wine (hence 'Syrah' rather than 'Shiraz'). Crafted to present an alluring character with broad appeal, it will offer lively cherry fruit, earth and spice and a superb structure. Like any great performer, this needs some time to itself to breathe before it's ready. This wine is suitable for vegans.
