Description
The volcanic soils of the Fattoria di Fiorano vineyards are planted to Merlot, Cabernet, Semillon and Malvasia di Candia. Founder Alberico Boncompagni Ludovisi, who inherited these lands in 1946, has employed organic agriculture from the very beginning, rejecting the post-war trend toward the false miracle of chemical interference in the vineyard. This spirit of traditional winemaking continues to this day. Look for this 100% Semillon to deliver intense, complex fruit with toast, butter and vanilla undertones. This is crafted to reflect an elegant, characterful wine - and keep an eye out for that refined volcanic minerality.
