Dievole Novecento Riserva Chianti Classico 2014
Dievole has outmaneuvered and seemingly outsmarted the difficult 2014 growing season. The 2014 Chianti Classico Riserva Novecento is a rich and nicely concentrated wine that shows substantial density without feeling heavy. In fact, the wine is mid-weight in essence, although it offers enough concentration and richness to keep the palate satiated and fulfilled. The finish is elegant and silky. The blend is 95% Sangiovese, 3% Canaiolo and 2% Colorino. Drink Date: 2018-2027. Score - 91+. (Monica Larner, robertparker.com, Oct. 31, 2017)
