Small but mighty, Prince Edward County is a gem of a region, made all the more impressive and special by the range, quality and refinement of the wines crafted by so many excellent wineries. Closson Chase, which is one of the region's pioneering premium producers, is celebrating its 20th anniversary in 2018. Pinot specialist Keith Tyers has been the winemaker since 2015, and his terroir-focused approach seeks to make the connection between the soil and the glass obvious to all who enjoy his wines. Look for an elegant, perfumed wine with energetic cherry, red fruit, spice and earth. Enjoy with grilled pork or salmon.
