Château LaGrange 2012

Château LaGrange 2012
Lussac Saint-Émilion is one of four satellites of Saint-Émilion; the other three are St-Georges, Montagne and Puisseguin. These satellite regions produce approachably priced wines with a more delicate structure than those of Saint-Émilion, but offer much of the depth and complexity of aroma and flavour of Saint-Émilion. This example from 2012 is juicy and tart with black cherry supported by Christmas-cake tones. (VINTAGES panel, March 2016)
