Château Hauchat 2013

Bordeaux Red

—VINTAGES#: 123489
Château Hauchat 2013
On the north bank of the Dordogne River in Bordeaux, the Fronsac region can be a source for incredible values - such as this wine. It opens with evocative aromas of spice box, sandalwood, plum, cherry and warm earth. In the mouth, it's taut and sinewy with good tannic tension, lightly-spiced red fruit and lively acidity. Cellar for 1-3 years, or open tonight and pair with steak or roast beef cooked rare, firm cheeses or wild mushrooms. (VINTAGES panel, July 2016)
